Dense Fog Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 3:08 am PST on January 7, 2009

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am PST this morning for
the East Bay interior valleys...

The National Weather Service San Francisco Bay area has issued
a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am PST this
morning.

At 3 am this morning visibilities in the East Bay valleys were
reported at or below a quarter of a mile. This will make for
potentially hazardous driving conditions. The fog is expected to
lift by 9 am this morning.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
